The Maitland Junior High School campus is going to be rebuilt in the
next few years. The old buildings are to be torn down, and the new-style Middle
School format will be built.
We had most of our classes in two halls. The Cafetorium
still has the stage at one end and the food service at the other. The Boys and
Girls locker room / showers were there but they added the gym. And by 1987 most
of the sports and clubs were removed from Junior High School grades 7-9 as they
became Middle Schools grades 6-8.
